This Australian built Canberra was constructed in 1955 and had its first flight on 7 September of that year. It was delivered to the charge of the RAAF exactly one month later, joining 2 Sqd. After 16 years in service, A84-223 was struck off charge in November 1971. A84-223 is now on static display with the Temora Aviation Museum at Temors, New South Wales, Australia.
