This Australian built Canberra was constructed in 1955 and had its first flight on 7 September of that year. It was delivered to the charge of the RAAF exactly one month later, joining 2 Sqd. After 16 years in service, A84-223 was struck off charge in November 1971.

A84-223 is now on static display with the Temora Aviation Museum at Temors, New South Wales, Australia. See details on their website: aviationmuseum.com.au

Note that the Temora Aviation Museum is getting a flying Canberra, WJ680. This TT.18 is to fly out from UK late in 2001 and should be ready for displays in 2002 with the Temora Meteor, “Winston”.
